doblespiral es un proyecto de afectos entre artistas establecido por María Bonomi y Lucía Cozzi.
A través de prácticas autogestivas que incluyen la auto-publicación, el trabajo colaborativo, el intercambio de conocimiento, y aprender haciendo, exploran el contacto en el arte como vía hacia el cariño mutuo. Una herramienta necesaria para el sostén de las redes de cuidado colectivo de la cual participan en su comunidad, en familia, entre amigues, y como pareja.
Sus obras colaborativas, íntimas o públicas y colectivas, responden a inquietudes del contexto y el momento presente en el que se encuentran. Trabajan con materiales orgánicos, domésticos, y elementos encontrados en las calles donde suceden sus activaciones públicas.
Cada proyecto ilustra nuevos mundos de posibilidades afectivas y transformadoras que nacen de la unión de dos o más gestos.
Through self-taught practices that include self-publishing, collaborative work, knowledge sharing, and learning by doing, they explore contact in art as a path to mutual affection. A necessary tool to support collective care networks in which they participate in their community, as a family, in friendships, and as a couple.
Their collaborative pieces, intimate or public and collective, respond to concerns of the context and present moment in which they find themselves. They work with organic, domestic materials, and materials found on the streets where their public activations take place.
Each project illustrates new worlds of affective and transformative possibilities that are born in the union of two or more gestures.
