María Bonomi y Lucía Cozzi se conocieron y empezaron a colaborar en 2019 como integrantes del colectivo Mil Mundos Books. Poco después, nació doblespiral, producto de una creciente espiral afectiva entre elles, en la que sus prácticas artísticas y de organización comunitaria se cruzan y se interconectan. Como artistas socialmente comprometidas, a lo largo de los años, han organizado acciones y eventos, como dúo y en coalición con otros miembros de Mil Mundos y otros grupos comunitarios en Brooklyn.Mil Mundos es una librería bilingüe y centro comunitario en Bushwick. https://www.milmundosbooks.com/
